Tour Edge Golf is coming out with a new wedge that will expand the boundaries of grooves on the clubface in a way the company hasn't done previously.
The Rally wedge will remind you significantly of Callaway Golf's Mack Daddy PM Grind wedge. Both have grooves that cover almost the entire face, offering versatility and room for creativity. The high toe moves weight to help a player extricate themselves from most any lie. Golfers can play most any shot with the cambered sole, which allows for several different setups at address.
In addition, a concave flange comes combined with a medium bounce angle allows for use on most any turf conditions.
While we don't know how the wedges compare in terms of performance, the Rally wedge dramatically undercuts the price of the Mack Daddy PM Grind, which retails
for $129. It runs $80 in a KBS Tour Black Nickel shaft and $100 for a UST Mamiya Recoil shaft and is available in four lofts (54.13, 56.13, 58.10 and 60.10 for righties and 56.10 and 60.10 left-handed models).
