IN-HAND: Puma Golf’s PWRWarm uses your shivering to keep you warm

If you're a golfer who doesn't mind playing when it gets a little chilly, then you know how important it is to wear clothing that can handle a variety of conditions.

In especially cold weather, it can be hard to stay warm, particularly early in the round before your body uses its own warmth created from movement. You usually shiver and rub your arms and hands until you can pick up your body temperature. Well, Puma Golf thought they could help the body keep itself warm, using the energy we create when we shiver. That's what their PWRWarm technology does.

PWRWarm is a ceramic print coating that helps retain body heat, particularly from shivering, without adding much to the total weight of a garment. That means keeping warm but not feeling like an eskimo.

The Puma PWRWarm golf jacket is available now and retails for $75.
