PHOTO: Enormous alligator walks across Florida golf course green

You've probably never seen an alligator this big on a golf course. This hulking specimen was photographed by several players at Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, Fla.

 

The gator was shot on the seventh hole of the club's White course, and the club posted those photos to their Facebook page.

Naturally, a number of skeptics wonder if the photos have been doctored, but the gator looks pretty legitimate from here. And by that, I mean, I don't want to get anywhere near that thing.

While I was in Orlando last week, I saw a 4-foot gator at ChampionsGate Golf Club's International course. And, of course, one of my family members grabbed it by the tail. He was uninjured.
