Morgan Hoffmann dons orange cowboy hat given by ‘hot chicks’

Morgan Hoffmann looked absolutely ridiculous wearing a large, orange foam cowboy hat as he teed off on the par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale on Thursday.

It was both an homage to both his alma mater Oklahoma State Cowboys and a group of "hot  chicks" Hoffmann met before the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

“On Wednesday, I was on the range and I saw this group of hot chicks and I was like, ‘Where did you get these hats?’” Hoffmann said, according to GolfChannel.com. “They were like, ‘Oh, we’ll give you one of ours in exchange for balls and gloves.’ So I was like, sure.”

Hoffmann may have made bogey at the 16th on Thursday, but he's not deterred from giving the hat a second chance.

He said, “I’ll do it again Sunday. I’ll wear orange, too.”
