The PGA Tour may have banned players from throwing, kicking or otherwise propelling things into the fans around the par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale, but that doesn't mean the players in the Waste Management Phoenix Open haven't cooked up some fun ways of interacting with the huge crowds.

Ryan Palmer has come up with a great idea that's sure to win over new fans: He's giving away autographed golf balls wrapped in money.

Palmer tweeted a photo of one of 12 balls he'll give away on the 16th hole on Thursday.

Given the beer prices at a sporting event, that 10 spot might only get one beer, but it's one more than a fan had otherwise!
