Rory McIlroy’s 2015 schedule: Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bay Hill?

Rory McIlroy has lined up his road to the Masters. The world No. 1 shared Tuesday his anticipated schedule heading into his first crack at completing the career Grand Slam at Augusta National in April.

McIlroy starts his 2015 this week at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, where he finished joint runner-up last year to Pablo Larrazabal. Then after a week off, he returns to the United Arab Emirates for the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

After that is up to a week on the witness stand in Irish court as his lawsuit against former agents Horizon Sports Management unfolds in Dublin.

Golf resumes with his U.S. debut at the end of February for the Honda Classic, where McIlroy made clear he was on the path back to the top. Then McIlroy will play the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral the next week. He'll finish the Florida Swing after skipping Tampa to probably play the Arnold Palmer Invitational for the first time. Likely out of the loop? The Shell Houston Open, which has typically been on McIlroy's schedule since 2009.

“It really depends how I feel," McIlroy said of Houston. "If I feel I need more golf, I'll play. If not, I'll probably take it off."

Then, it's the Masters.
