Someone with the Ryder Cup task force needs to dial up Neil Diamond. The U.S. hopes at Hazeltine in 2016 might rely on him.

Rory McIlroy was in Belfast on Friday to watch the Ulster-Connacht rugby match. The BBC caught up with the world No. 1 at halftime. Knowing this, the folks who control the public address system at the stadium in the Northern Ireland capital had a little fun with the four-time major winning, playing "Sweet Caroline" while McIlroy was talking about his Christmas celebration.

As McIlroy's talking, he realizes what's being played and has a great, subdued reaction: laughing and saying "Oh, dear" before getting mildly flustered and losing his train of thought.
