At the 2017 Collegiate Rugby National Championship, Robert was expecting to win a national title. Early in the game, he was put in a neck lock by an opposing player. What should've been called as a foul instead left him paralyzed from a broken neck. When the doctors told him he would never walk again, he thought to himself, "you obviously don't know me."

He additionally released True Aim Marker, designed to help golfers train, practice, and play.
