The 2026 Tour Championship purse is set for $40 million, with the winner's share coming in at $10,000,000 -- not the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The 2026 Tour Championship field is headed by Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Cam Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood and more of the world's best players.

The 30-player field competes in the last event of the FedEx Cup year, with the event played as a 72-hole shootout.

A cut is not made after 36 holes to the top 65 players and ties. All players who finish four rounds of the tournament will earn money.

The prize-money payout is typically based on exactly 65 players making the cut and finishing the tournament. When more than 65 pros make the cut, the purse is increased to make sure every player is paid. There is a specific payout for this event.
