The 2026 US Open final leaderboard is headed by winner Wyndham Clark, who earned the PGA Tour major championship win in the USGA-conducted event at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
Clark won the tournament for his second win of the season on the PGA Tour, taking his second US Open title in four years, with a one-shot victory over Sam Burns on 4-under 276.
In the final round, Clark entered with a six-shot lead that dwindled to just one at multiple points, but a birdie 4 on the par-5 16th after an errant drive proved key. Following a three-putt bogey on the 17th hole, Clark managed to find the green from the rough on the difficult par-4 18th and -- like three years ago -- managed a long two-putt on the final hole to win the national championship.
With a final-round 67, Sam Burns finished in solo second place. Tom Kim was the only other player to finish under par for the week, finishing in solo third.
Scottie Scheffler, JT Poston and Keith Mitchell finished in a share of fourth place on even-par 280.
Clark won the $4,500,000 winner's share of the $22,500,000 purse.
US Open recap notes
Clark earned 100 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win in the 72-hole stroke-play championship, which helps his place in the world ranking.
Clark earned 750 FedEx Cup points as a PGA Tour member, with the PGA Tour points offered at the major championship level for this event.
A total of 72 (of 156) players finished the tournament, where a 36-hole cut was made in this event to the top 60 and ties through two rounds.
The 2026 PGA Tour schedule continues next week with the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.
