2026 PGA Championship: PGA Tour one-and-done fantasy golf picks

PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 PGA Championship, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the PGA Championship, with the PGA of America heading back to Aronimink for the first time in 64 years. This is a Hogan gem that hosted the PGA Tour's BMW Championship, but it was super rainy and soft that week. We should expect the opposite given the spring in this portion of the country.

It's PGA Championship week, and the 156-player field this week is taking on a test that will be challenging in approach play, given these are Ross greens and they're the primary defense.

Rory McIlroy looked good through two rounds to surge on Saturday, and then he didn't. But Sunday was fine. In Myrtle Beach, Marco Penge WD'd ahead of the tournament, so we went with Davis Thompson instead, and he did well.

This week, I think we have the interesting choice of trying to peg one of the Big Four or looking for a surprise winner. I think the US Open could reveal a somewhat random winner, so I'm going for the Big Four here.

2026 PGA Championship One and Done picks

  • Rory McIlroy: McIlroy played three rounds very well at Quail Hollow, but that shocking Saturday 75 derailed his chances.
  • Cameron Young: Cam Young backed down on Sunday at Quail Hollow in quite a bit of a surprise, but maybe he's a bit tired.
  • Matt Fitzpatrick: Fitzpatrick basically took a mental week off at Quail Hollow, so does he come back and turn it on easily?
  • Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler has been second his last three times out, and he took last week off, so I like that.

My pick this week is Scottie Scheffler.
