PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, with the PGA Tour going to New Orleans for the team event on the schedule.

It's Zurich Classic of New Orleans week, and the 148-player field this week is taking on a unique challenge in multiple formats, playing together this week.

My word of strategy for this event -- and not every one-and-done league plays this week -- is to use the worse of the two partners on the team that you want. For the leagues that play this week, you can pick either of the partners and get the whole team. So why waste a great player if they have a partner you're less likely to pick?

2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans One and Done picks

  • Alex Fitzpatrick (Matt Fitzpatrick): Fitz is at the top of his game, No. 3 in the world and playing this week to get his brother a PGA Tour card right now. Alex just won on the DP World Tour, by the way.
  • Brooks Koepka (Shane Lowry): Lowry is back in this event, but not with Rory. Instead, he's with Brooks. I think they're both playing pretty well and will have a good time.
  • Blades Brown (Luke Clanton): Want a longer shot? Blades Brown is doing great on the Korn Ferry Tour and contended in Puerto Rico. Clanton might be revived this week.
  • Jordan Smith (Haotong Li): Haotong is going to have so much fun this week, and these guys know each other from the DP World Tour days.

My pick this week is Alex Fitzpatrick.
