The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 The RSM Classic starting on Thursday at Sea Island Golf Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

My PGA Tour field ranking for The RSM Classic looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the best in the world for the final leg of PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Fall.

The RSM Classic is the end to the FedEx Cup Fall, and there are a half dozen top-50 players competing this week at a two-course tournament that features two of the shortest courses on tour, whose difficulty is largely predicated on wind.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 The RSM Classic rankings.

2025 The RSM Classic expert picks and rankings

1. Harris English: English hasn't teed it up anywhere since the Ryder Cup, so he's light on competition, but he's obviously a great player in a home game.

2. Denny McCarthy: McCarthy is probably the best horse-for-course play this week, and him winning here would be a key capper to his year.

3. Si Woo Kim: SWK has played some since his PGA Tour FedEx Cup season ended, and he's had some good results.

4. Michael Thorbjornsen: Thorbjornsen has enjoyed a decent fall, but a lot of folks have pegged him for a win that hasn't quite come.

5. Brian Harman: Harman hasn't played all fall, but he did enjoy a very good year, and this is a comfortable week for him.

6. J.T. Poston: The Postman played once this fall, with a T-29 in Jackson. He's still a great player, even if a rusty one.

7. Alex Smalley: Smalley is probably going to see a fair amount of action this week, and his game does line up with Sea Island.

8. Eric Cole: Cole has a solid Sea Island resume, and he's been very good in about half of his fall starts (but not so good in the other half).

9. Seamus Power: Power did himself a solid at the Bermuda Championship in tough conditions last week, and that may make him worthwhile this week.

10. Mackenzie Hughes: Hughes played well at the Procore to start the fall and has missed two cuts since, but he loves this place.
