The 2025 WM Phoenix Open field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. The field is set for this FedEx Cup event, played at TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz., from February 6-9, 2025.
The WM Phoenix Open field is headlined by the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama, Wyndham Clark and more.
This is set to be a 132-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the sixth tournament of the 2025 PGA Tour schedule.
The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with this being the best-attended event on the PGA Tour schedule, including tons of people on the par-3 16th and drivable par-4 17th holes. Players get into this event off the open PGA Tour priority order.
We do not yet have our three Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday though Sunday. This is the final year for the Monday qualifier for this event, as the PGA Tour is scaling back these open qualifying spots.
The WM Phoenix Open alternate list has already been set, with Jesper Svensson and Niklas Norgaard being the first two players on the list. Nick Taylor is the defending champion.
The field will be playing for a $9.2 million purse, with 30 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
