TaylorMade Golf has refreshed its Kalea line of equipment, designed specifically to maximize performance for female golfers.

The company says they've designed specific components with the goal in mind of maximizing clubhead speed and equipment that's easy to launch. Lengths and lofts are designed to offer proper gapping.

The Kalea line is a set of 11 clubs, including a 12-degree driver, a 3- and 5-wood, two hybrids, a 7-iron through pitching wedge, a sand wedge and a Spider Mini putter.

Speed Pocket technology allows for face flexing on low-striking shots for higher launch and forgiveness. A low-and-back center of gravity, found in more forgiving clubs, is designed to help with playability. A softer and lighter Kalea Ultralite graphite shaft is a better-performing shaft than the prior generation while still offering a more lightweight overall profile.

The Kalea line is sold as a package set with Lamkin Sonar Lite 38-gram grips on the woods, hybrids and irons and the Lamkin Deep Etched grip on the putter. The set comes with a lightweight 14-divider cart bag and six headcovers available in gray/green, charcoal/blue and black/violet colorways.

In addition, TaylorMade has introduced Kalea golf balls, which are a two-piece product with a React core, an ionomer cover and a 60 compression rating. The company says the ball is designed for high launch and maximum distance off the tee. They will be available for $20 per dozen in white, as well purple and peach colors with a UV-resistant matte finish.

The TaylorMade Golf Kalea golf club sets are available in right- and left-handed options for $1,300.
