US Open champion Gary Woodland and his wife Gabby Woodland excitedly welcomed twin girls into the world this week, officially expanding their family of three into a family of five.
The Woodlands shared an Aug. 1 family photo on Twitter, including twins Maddox and Lennox.
Best part is Jax doesn’t realize our identical twin girls will be coming home soon. Gabby and I welcomed Maddox and Lennox into this world yesterday pic.twitter.com/TZZbXrWGEh

As Gary Woodland was winning the US Open at Pebble Beach in California in June, he would take downtime to video chat with his wife, Gabby, who was at home on bedrest in the final weeks of her pregnancy.
The Woodlands' son, Jaxson, was one of a pair of twins the family was expecting in 2017. Unfortunately, pregnancy complications led to one of the babies dying and Jaxson being born 10 weeks premature, weighing just 3 lbs. However, now the couple is elated to have three children in Kansas City. As Woodland tweeted, the girls should be coming home soon.
The US Open trophy should be a great addition to the nursery.
Woodland will return to the PGA Tour for the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs next week at The Northern Trust at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, N.J. He's likely to start the three-event playoff chase ranked fifth in the FedEx Cup standings, with a great chance to get to East Lake and the Tour Championship in Atlanta with a high chance of winning the handicapped season finale and the $15 million FedEx Cup first-place prize.
