Ryan Ballengee unboxes and shares three new Lamkin golf grips for 2018, including the tour-performance TS1, the Sonar and the Comfort Plus models, all of which offer unique characteristics in feel, performance and tackiness.
The TS1 is the tour-performance model, using a hybrid material instead of traditional rubber to deliver performance in all facets of the grip to cover all shot types. The two zones on the grip cater to each hand, while the less-tapered look -- on all three models -- leads to better grip pressure for improved tempo and control.
The Sonar grip is a little tackier and is more comfort-forward than the TS1, using the same hybrid materials and offering research-backed zones for the grips.
The Comfort Plus grip has an unbuffed look which uses Lamkin's proprietary DSX material. The grip is tackier and has micro-ridges to ensure comfort and performance.
All of the grips have some additional length to allow large hands to grip freely, and they range in price from $8-$10 per grip.
