2017 18 Days of Golf, Gift 4: Wilson Duo Soft golf balls

For Gift 4 of the 2017 18 Days of Golf, we have some of the softest, most colorful golf balls on the market today.

Wilson Golf took a big leap of faith on soft -- we mean, really soft -- golf balls in 2012, introducing a 29-compression ball meant mostly for players with slower swing speeds and those maybe not quite at Tour swing speeds who wanted the softest feel possible. Turns out, that's what people wanted, and the soft movement has become a thing in golf.

For the newest iteration, Wilson Staff Duo Soft balls come in two models:

  • the original 29-compression ball, now available in white and five colors with matte finishes and the classic Wilson Staff crest
  • an improved Duo Soft Spin model, with a compression increased from 35 to 40, and the three-piece construction offering harder core and mantle layers were for a more noticeable difference in short-iron performance compared to the Duo Soft

At $20 per dozen, these balls are fun and a great value. And even if you're a hard swinger, these balls are great in colder months.

We're giving away 3 dozen of Wilson Staff Duo Soft golf balls through our Twitter account! All you have to do to enter is follow @GolfNewsNet on Twitter and retweet our Wilson Staff contest tweet before 12/13 at noon Eastern. Good luck!
