FOLLOW: iHEART | TUNEIN

The PGA Tour's 2017 FedEx Cup playoffs ended at the 2017 Tour Championship, which played out in a back-and-forth to determine who would win the FedEx Cup and the $10 million first-place prize.

Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele were the two combatants in contention for the tournament title, practically assuring Thomas of the season-long purse, so long as he finished substantially ahead of Jordan Spieth.

In the end, Thomas won the FedEx Cup after Xander Schauffele won the Tour Championship.

The top 150 players in the final standings are paid part of the $35 million bonus pool.
