The 2017-2018 PGA Tour schedule has been released, and it looks a lot like the schedule we've grown accustomed to seeing in recent years. Total prize money for the 49-event season will be a record of more than $363 million. There will be increases of $250,000 in the purse of each of the four FedEx Cup playoff events, going up to $9 million.

There are two new events on the schedule, with the Web.com Tour's Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship in the Dominican Republic coming up to the PGA Tour schedule to be the opposite-field event against the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. The CJ Cup at Nine Bridges in South Korea is in the 2017 portion of the schedule.

There are some new sponsors on the schedule: Sentry Insurance takes over the Tournament of Champions.
