Brooks Kopeka won his first major championship in 2017 with an incredible total against par at the US Open at Erin Hills. He used that record-tying 16-under total to propel him to have the lowest combined score in the four major championships in 2017.
Just 13 players made the cut in all four majors in 2017, with Koepka finishing at 21-under total against a total par of 1140 (Masters and US Open had par of 288, with the British Open at 280 and PGA Championship at 284). Hideki Matsuyama and Matt Kuchar finished each at 20-under total.
Rickie Fowler was fourth at 16 under par.
The worst total among the golfers to play all 16 major rounds in 2017? Lee Westwood was 20 over par in the four majors. But he got a full payday in all of them!
