Troy Mullins has only been in golf for a few years, taking an interest in the sport after a trip with a friend to a Los Angeles-area driving range. Mullins, who was a biathlete at Cornell University in New York, fell in love. Then, on a study-abroad trip to China, Mullins found an instructor who helped her fine-tune her swing.

Now, Mullins is one of the longest drivers (period) in the world, winning the 2017 World Long Drive Mile High Showdown for her first televised title.

The 25-year-old calls herself the Trojan Goddess, and she hopes to someday compete on the LPGA.
