2017 Irish Open purse, winner’s share, prize money payout

The 2017 Irish Open purse is set for $7 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,166,669 -- the standard 16.67 percent payout according to the European Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The Irish Open field is headed by defending champion and tournament host Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyma, Jon Rahm and Justin Rose.

The event is played this year at Portstewart in Northern Ireland.
