You wanna watch an alligator eat a golf ball? Sure you do. That's what golfer Dan McNamara wanted to see happen on the third hole during his Saturday round on the Long Marsh golf course in Rotonda West, Fla.

McNamara and his playing partner must have seen an alligator on the bank of a water hazard on the hole and decided to see what would happen if they threw the gator a ball. (McNamara told several area TV stations that the video he shot was of an errant shot, but it's pretty obvious the ball was rolled to hit the gator.) The ball hits the gator in the head, who then turns to the ball, puts it in its mouth and then claws back into the water hazard.

We didn't reach out to Chubbs Peterson to identify the gator, but we're assuming this one is a different one than the gator that got his hand in "Happy Gilmore."
