Jason Day has signed on to wear Nike Golf apparel and footwear starting in 2017, and he's making his debut wearing Nike Golf clothes at the 2017 SBS Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
Day is debuting a new Nike Golf shirt with Aeroreact technology, which is essentially "smart" fabric. The material comprising the shirt is able to change its shape and size in response to the presence of moisture, making it more breathable as a player sweats more. When a player is colder, the threads close to trap heat.
The new shirt, the Nike AeroReact, also employs the blade collar look that came out in 2016, reminding many of a Henley-style shirt.
The Nike AeroReact polo is now available on Nike's website for $90 each, cut in a slim-fit style that should compel many golfers to bump up a size.
