Long before the leaders made their way to the first tee at Wentworth Club for the final round of the 2016 BMW PGA Championship, Englishman James Morrison was locking up one of the week's best consolation prizes.

Morrison made a hole-in-one on the 179-yard par-3 14th hole to win a BMW i8 that was on offer for any player that could make an ace.

The Englishman went nuts when the ball went in the hole, hugging buddy and playing partner Andy Sullivan, as well their caddies. Morrison's caddie then got out his man's phone to take pictures and video of him sitting in the butterfly-doored car.

The lads were still very happy as they were walking up to the green. And that's when Morrison lifted up Sullivan and started galloping toward the hole. Sullivan played like a jockey, using his putter to whip up Morrison to the green.

Morrison shot 3-over 75 on Sunday, with that ace sandwiched in between a double bogey on the hole before and two bogeys right after it. But who cares?!
