Cory Renfrew, Eric Hallberg, Ben Geyer and David Bradshaw kick off the new PGA Tour season as the first four players to get through a Monday qualifier, earning spots in the 2015 Frys.com Open.
Renfrew was the medalist in the 18-hole event at the Bayonet Course at Bayonet and Black Horse, in Seaside, Calif., shooting 7-under 65 to win by four shots over Hallberg and Geyer.
Bradshaw was a shot behind Hallberg and Geyer, alone in fourth with 70. That score shut out three players tied for fifth: Gregor Main, Michael Duncan and Boris Stantchev.
The 32-year-old Bradshaw played in The Greenbrier Classic this past season, missing the cut after shooting 70-73 at the Old White TPC. Renfrew, a 29-year-old Canadian, played the bulk of his golf this year on the MacKenzie Tour, earning $19,391 in 11 starts to finish 40th on the money list. Geyer, who turns 24 in December, missed 12 of 13 cuts on the Web.com Tour this past season. Eric Hallberg is the 21-year-old son of three-time PGA Tour winner Gary Hallberg.
Anthony Kim -- the mid-am from California, not the recluse -- shot 8-over 80.
