VIDEO: See the storm that downed a tree at Pebble Beach’s 18th

You've seen pictures of the tree downed on Pebble Beach's iconic par-5 18th hole in a December 11 storm. You probably saw a screen capture of the scene when the cypress fell.

However, a video has now surfaced which shows just how nasty the weather was that day. A YouTube upload shows what it was like from the cart of a player participating in the Lexus Champions for Charity event. The player is on the famous par-3 seventh, which is typically a sub-100-yard shot. The shooter describes the wind as blasting at 60 mph and says he needed a 5-iron to get to the green.

This was the group's last hole before play was called.
