Apparently, Patrick Reed is happy to play the role of villain.

After making a matching birdie to halve the hole against Henrik Stenson in his Sunday singles match at the Ryder Cup, Reed turned to the Scottish crowd at Gleneagles and proceeded to shush them. Of course, that incited the partisan crowd to boo the top-5 player. Reed was encouraged by the boos, asking for more of them to rain down on him.

Reed may have just won a ton of new American fans.
