Henrik Stenson made major championship history on Sunday at the 2016 British Open Championship, beating Phil Mickelson by three strokes at Royal Troon. In becoming the first Swedish male to win a major, Stenson closed with 8-under 63, shot a major record-tying 20-under total and set the new 72-hole Open scoring mark by three shots.
