Lydia Ko getting her driver’s license so she can roll in her sweet Lexus

Lydia Ko has a great offseason. She got her learner's permit to drive.

However, the 18-year-old world No. 1 isn't rolling around Florida in some beat up Chevy Cavalier (speaking from personal experience here). Oh, no. Lydia Ko is the proud owner of a 467-horsepower Lexus RC F sports coupe. It's a $63,000 car.

As if you couldn't miss her ride, Ko kidded that you'll notice her driving.

“Whoever is around Orlando or ChampionsGate, I would recommend not being on the road when I am,” Ko joked Tuesday at the Coates Golf Championship in Ocala, Fla.

“Everybody said it’s the same as a golf cart, but it’s nothing like a cart. It goes so much faster. It should be going, like, really fast ... and I’m going like 30, 35 cruising along to Publix (a supermarket chain).”

Who said it was like a golf cart?! Hopefully that person isn't Ko's driving instructor.
