Callaway Golf is putting a new matte black finish on its line of Mack Daddy PM Grind wedges.

Built in partnership between Roger Cleveland and Phil Mickelson, the Mack Daddy PM Grind wedges were designed for aggression and flexibility with wedge play. The face is designed to have a larger playable area, with a 39 percent larger groove area (compared to the original Mack Daddy) that goes all the way across the face with the idea of affording more versatility. The toe is higher to move weight higher so the wedge can move better through thicker rough.

The new finish came in response to feedback from tour staff.

The Mack Daddy PM Grind wedges will be available in the black matte finish starting Jan. 29 for $130 each (same as the original finish) in 56-, 58-, 60- and 64-degree options.
