Wilson Staff has announced its new FG Tour F5 irons, rounding out the previously announced wood and hybrid offerings that will anchor its 2016 line.

The 8620 forged steel irons are built for better players, particularly in look and feel but features technology to improve distance.

The primary feature in the club is the use of Speed Sole technology, which first debuted in the D200 irons. The Speed Sole minimizes the metal transition from the face to the sole, enlarging the sweet spot lower on the club face with the intent of improving launch conditions on thin hits on the mid- and long irons.

A stabilizing bar has been placed behind the club face to offer forgiveness on off-center hits.

The Wilson Staff FG Tour F5 irons will come in 4-GW for $900 with True Temper Dynamic Gold XP steel shafts and $1,000 with MRC Kuro Kage LB 85 graphite shafts.
