Drake gives Will Wilcox shoutout after Twitter feud over range music

Will Wilcox had to feel pretty good this morning as he got ready to play in Round 1 of The Greenbrier Classic. He woke up, checked his Instagram feed and saw that rapper Drake had given him a shout out. But why?

Wave God Wilcox going way up on the range every time. ⛳️

You see, Wilcox, who is enjoying a solid year on the PGA Tour despite limited starts, got into a bit of a Twitter beef with Brendan Steele, who apparently was not happy with Wilcox for playing Drake on the driving range at last week's Travelers Championship. Wilcox sort-of apologized to Steele, who decided to be a bit standoff-ish in return.

In the end, Drake obviously comes down on the side of his fan Wilcox. You should, too. It's music, not screeching.
