Phil Mickelson needed a some liquid refreshment on Thursday, so he stopped by a lemonade stand in the neighborhood surrounding Muirfield Village Golf Club, site of the Memorial Tournament. He bought a $1 glass from 6-year-old Roland Van Karsen and 8-year-old sister Elise.
He handed them a $100 bill and told them to keep the change, according to the Columbus Dispatch. That's a $99 tip. Not too shabby.
Mickelson is known to be a generous guy, tipping most anybody -- including people he hits with golf balls during PGA Tour events -- with $100. Those victims usually get a signed glove, too, but these kids got an experience they'll never forget.
