Golf in the winter is tough. Between the cold, wind and snow, the weather takes a toll on a golfer and makes golf seem like anything but fun.

However, frigid temperatures and permafrost were no detriment to the players who recently competed in the annual ice golf tournament in Baikal, Siberia in Russia.

Over 70 players teed up in the event, including some visitors from China, taking on a course on a frozen lake instead of terra firma.
