Work got in the way of David Toms' Saturday night plans.

The LSU alum had planned to fly from Mississippi to Death Valley to watch his Bayou Bengals take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in a pivotal SEC match-up. The problem? At 10 under through two rounds, Toms will be cutting it close for kickoff as he'll have a late Saturday tee time at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson.

However, with a private plane at his disposal and a promise from tournament officials that play will end by 4 p.m. local time on Saturday, Toms should have ample time to catch the Tigers in full.

"My mind will be in Baton Rouge (on Saturday)," Toms said, according to the Shreveport Times. "Hopefully I'll shoot another good round and go pull for the Tigers."
