The Northern Irish love a lot of things, but near the top of the list are two things: Rory McIlroy and pumpkins. Yeah, pumpkins. So a creative McIlroy fan combined the two for an Ulster tradition.
A pumpkin carved in McIlroy's likeness was on display this weekend at the annual Pumpkinfest at Castle Ward. The pumpkin also had the bill of a baseball cap attached so it would look just like McIlroy would on the course. It's the work of master carver Joey Burns, but it's hard not to wonder if the inspiration was the witchcraft of Caroline Wozniacki.
