An investigation: Does Bubba Watson have a tattoo on his finger?

It seems Bubba Watson has some ink on his finger at the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. What's unclear is if that ink is from an exploded Sharpie or a tattoo the Masters champion has on his ring finger.

Several photos seem to show Watson with the ink on his hand, including these from the Ryder Cup.

Several fellow golf observers, including No Laying Up and SB Nation, think the tattoo says "Angie," a reference to Watson's wife. Considering Watson doesn't play with his wedding ring on, it may well be a symbolic band he has during the round. Based on image archives, it seems Watson got the tattoo after the PGA Championship.

Watson is the first known PGA Tour player to sport a visible tattoo. Lydia Ko followed suit in 2015, getting a tattoo of the date of her first pro win in Roman numerals on her right wrist.
