Hunter Mahan had won The Barclays. He'd been presented with the trophy and was posing in pictures with it on the 18th green. And then that's when it fell apart -- the trophy, that is.

Mahan was posing with 21-year-old David Finn, who has muscular dystrophy, when he set the newly won trophy on the ground. It broke in two. According to the Star-Ledger, Mahan joked aloud, "David did it!"

At his post-tournament news conference, Mahan was asked about what happened.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said.

It's nothing a little Super Glue and the $1.44 million first-place check can't fix.
