Experience a drive-in movie…in your golf cart

Drive-in movie theaters are a dying piece of Americana. Then again, so is golf participation. So why not pair the two together, sort of?

That's what a Denver-are community is doing, offering the first known golf-cart drive-in movie feature. The Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants Association is presenting a showing of "Friday the 13th" on, you guessed it, this Friday, Sept. 13, that is golf-cart friendly.

Moviegoers can bring their carts to a parking lot which will be rigged up to show the horror flick. For the admission price of $3, attendees get to see the slasher film, hear some live music before the movie and get to purchase some high-quality craft beer.

Don't have a golf cart? You can rent one from movie sponsor Discount Golf Cars just for the show.

And, for the record, Jason and his chainsaw can totally outrun a golf cart.
