Honma is a renown clubmaker with roots in Asia. The company is known for their high-end end equipment under their Beres lineup, which includes drivers and irons that feature ornate styling and run as high as $4,500 each.

Stunning Beauty

The new Beres line comes in two styles: Aizu and Black. Aizu artisans, whose work dates back to 1590, paint work featuring signature red and ornate gold accents on the crown. The Black line is is coated with a jet-black PVD finish to have a sleek, classic look.

Working Up To It

The new Beres Aizu and Black clubs have the same features and are graded on a scale of 2 to 5 stars. The stars indicate the shaft technology, getting more advanced with the more stars assigned to that club. Two-star drivers start at $850. Five-star drivers cost up to $5,000.

2-Stars to 5-Stars

Each driver has triple sole slots and an L-shaped cup Ti6-4 face. The drivers are designed to launch high and spin low with a draw bias. The triple slots bend at impact to held on off-center hits. The thin-walled Ti811 crown has varying thickness to optimize impact deflection.
