The 2019 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open betting odds have been released for the week at Heritage Golf Club on Mauritius.
The betting favorite this week is Thomas Pieters, who comes in as an 8-to-1 (+800) betting favorite in one of the weaker events of the European Tour season.
Thomas Detry, Pieters' fellow Belgian, is at 10-to-1 this week.
George Coetzee, a former winner here, and Romain Langasque are at 14-to-1, with Zander Lombard at 16-to-1.
2019 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open expert picks and bets
This is the fifth year for this tournament, and it's the third year it has been played in the fall portion of the schedule. The tournament bounces back and forth between Heritage Golf Club and the Four Seasons GC Mauritius at Anahita.
Wind is typically a factor in this tournament at some point in the week. It's a small island nation, so that makes sense. However, that makes short game particularly important.

Shubhankar Sharma: Sharma took a big step back in 2019. However, he has T-7 finishes in two of his last four European Tour starts, and he should do well against a weaker field.
Justin Harding: Harding make too quick of a leap into the PGA Tour and that level of competition this year, but he showed well last week in South Africa.
John Catlin: Catlin has winning in Asia down pat, and it sustains his world ranking position. He's struggled to translate to the European Tour, so this event could be a decent bridge.
