The 2019 Mayakoba Golf Classic betting odds have been released for the week at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The betting favorite this week is Viktor Hovland, with the PGA Tour rookie coming into this week at 14-to-1 (+1400) betting odds. Hovland had two middling finishes in the Asian Swing, but he comes into this week as favorite on the back of his all-around skill set.

The defending champion Matt Kuchar is coming in at 16-to-1 betting odds, even with Tony Finau and Jason Day on the board this week. Kuchar hasn't played since the Tour Championship, at least on the PGA Tour, making this start all the more unlikely were he not defending.

Billy Horschel has the next-lowest odds on the board at 21-to-1, with Joaquin Niemann and Charles Howell III at 25-to-1.

Win bets

Charles Howell III: CH3 has enjoyed a solid-enough fall season, and he has a terrific track record in this tournament. Obviously his wins are rare, but his form matches OK value at +2500.

Denny McCarthy: McCarthy isn't the best driver of the golf ball, but he has been solid in his last three PGA Tour starts. He keeps nearing closer to a win, and his putting should prove handy this week.

Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler has been solid coming out on the PGA Tour, including a T-3 in his last start in the opposite-field event in Bahamas. There's not a lot of depth at the top, so why not like a rookie?
