Jones Sports Co. expands their Players Series bags with three new colors

Everything that's old is new again, and some things never really go out of style. Jones Sports Co.'s single-strap bags, which the company introduced in 1971, fits that description well.

These days, a new generation is donning the single-strap bags, looking for a more simplistic golf bag that as much reflects their connection to the game as it does a desire to look different than other golfers.

Responding to the growing popularity of their Players Series bags, Jones has added a trio of new colorways. The heathered polyester look in charcoal, brown and navy gives a modern flair to the bags, while maintaining the core of a Jones bag. The bag is 35 inches tall with a 7-inch opening and a two-way divider. There are two front pockets and one on the back (like those classic bags I had when I started playing golf). It doesn't have a stand, but the ground works just fine. Really.

Fitting somewhere between fully featured bags and Sunday bags, the Jones Players Series comes in at just 3 lbs., making it an easy carry.

Of course, if you love the look of the bag and want a double strap, you can buy one online and fit it accordingly.

The Jones Players Series bags are available now for $185 each.
