A delivery truck carrying thousands of Nitro golf balls spilled its goods early Tuesday morning in Janesville, Wis., and either the driver didn't know or didn't care.

Rock County 911 received a call just after midnight Monday about the incident, near Highway 11/14 and Milton-Shopiere Road. Hundreds of golf balls were littering the icy road, per the Janesville Gazette.

The Rock County highway department sent a street sweeper to pick up the golf balls off the road, while a number of golf foragers stopped on the shoulder to pick up some of the golf balls themselves. One of the collectors had come back to get some free golf balls after his car windshield was cracked by a kicked-up ball from another vehicle.

Maybe in search of some tour-level product, the searchers found the balls, colored both white and orange, were Nitro golf balls, which typically sell for under $10 per dozen.
