Watch: Utah Jazz fan makes five putts at halftime to win $8,850

Could you make five straight putts at mid court of a packed NBA arena, knowing you could make more than $8,000 if you made them all?

One Utah Jazz fan did last night in Salt Lake City, and he sent the crowd into a tizzy. (Hat tip to Sean Lak of Golf dot com for blessing my timeline with this.)

The fan named Andrew made his first putt from about 4 feet for $100. Then he took a step back about a foot to the next putt for $250 and drained that one. He went back a little bit farther on the third putt -- looks like maybe 7 feet -- for $1,000. The next putt was from about 9 feet for $2,500, and Andrew kept riding that right-to-left break on the putting mat to increase his total to an impressive $3,850.

The final putt was from about 13 or 14 feet, and it was for an insane $5,000.

Right. In. The. Heart.

Andrew walked away with $8,850 for making the five putts. And for all your rules nerds out there (shout out), Andrew made all the putts with the pin in.
