The 2019 Web.com Tour schedule is official, with a 27-tournament schedule. And, great news for the players, they know the schedule well in advance after several years of last-minute releases.

The season-long purse is unknown at this point, but we do have a rundown of the full schedule. The big change is in the nature of the schedule, with it now concluding on Labor Day weekend with the Web.com Tour Championship.

The Web.com Tour Finals will be reduced from four events, as it has been in the first six years, to three events in 2019, with the DAP Championship in Cleveland exiting the schedule. The format, however, will remain the same, with 25 PGA Tour cards up for grabs.

Also leaving the schedule are the North Mississippi Classic, which ran for one year and was shortened by weather, and the Rust-Oleum Championship in Illinois.

Coming on to the schedule are three new events: the Suncoast Classic in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., played Feb. 14-17; the Evans Scholars Invitational in the Chicagoland area from May 23-26 at The Glen Club; and the TPC Colorado Championship in Berthoud, Colo., played July 11-14 at the newly-opened TPC Colorado.

A more condensed schedule will mean more consistent playing opportunities for form for more players.

A total of 12 Web.com Tour events will be on TV in 2019, all airing on Golf Channel, including the three Web.com Tour Finals events.
