Jim Furyk’s caddie, Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan to temp caddie for Sung Kang

While we won't see Jim Furyk again until around the U.S. Open, his caddie is getting some temporary work with an up-and-coming player.

Mike "Fluff" Cowan is working with 27-year-old South Korean player Sung Kang at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Furyk, who has been out of action since withdrawing from the BMW Championship in September, chose to have surgery to fix a nagging left wrist problem which started around the Deutsche Bank Championship. Facing a three-month recovery, he will miss the Masters for the first time since 2004.

Cowan may not. Kang fired 11-under 60 on Friday at Monterey Peninsula Country Club's Shore Course, just a shot shy of the seventh 59 in PGA Tour history.
