Jordan Spieth is going to serve some home cookin' when he hosts the 2016 Masters champions dinner.
The 22-year-old Masters and U.S. Open champion said ahead of his title defense at this week's Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas that he will serve Texas Bar-B-Que.
“I’ve still got a bit of time before I have to advise the officials at Augusta National but I am leaning towards a Texas-like barbecue,” he said, according to Golf by Tour Miss. “So it will be a choice of Texan meats as my main meal choice.”
Some brisket? Pulled pork? Beans? Corn? The menu isn't finalized, but it's going to be delicious.
Spieth's planned barbecue follows in the footsteps of Charl Schwartzel's South African-style grill dinner for the 2012 champions dinner, which was first held in 1952 at the behest of Ben Hogan.
